Highlighting the June 3332 Cruiserweight (65 ton max)
A new Cruiserweight event was announced, and it was a limit of 65 tons on the Mechs this time as well. My formation was still ready from the February event (where I failed to register by a small margin) and were dispatched to the mountain ASAP.
As we were the first to arrive we claimed the top and had a good view of the surrounding countryside. But other duties called, and my crew were left to hold and take notes.
I checked in on them a few times, and noticed stronger opponents had moved in. My formation was pushed steadily downwards, first to the slopes and then to the foothills.
This caused a lack of confidence from my friends, and they left in droves leaving me without a single drone to augment my performance.
Problem was, as the Clan War loomed close, this was a wrong time to ask for help, as that would leave me naked during one of the battle days. So it was just endure and hold on to a position. Luckily for me there were enough medals for all of those who had joined up on my mountain (K3).
It seemed more than me were happy about their placements, because all over it was not a very active scramble. When the light flashed, those who held the tops were:

0+6+5+1+0+3+6+4+2(1S)+1+0+0= One Silver and twenty-seven Bronzes were awarded to Commanders that had at least one overweight Mech.
Compared to the previous, unlimited event, participation was reduced by 73 Commanders. The spread was more even though, and only two Bronzes (from K2) were sent for resmelting.
While there were some fighting for the Golds, it was not the most intense event we have seen. Four Golds changed hands the last half-hour, while five were held for more than two hours. The number of lesser medals held for more than 30 minutes in this event was:

The most intense fighting was on Mount Olympus and K2 where more than half the medals changed hands (8 of 15 and 7 of 13). On K8, K10 and K12 there was no movement during the scramble. For the rest of the tops it was a total of twenty medals that changed hands.
We had one unaligned winner this time; Brick House took the Gold on K11. That brought him the 9th Nephilax so far. Clan leaders looking to bolster their forces for the upcoming Clan War could do worse than signing this Commander up.
There were no clans who managed multiple Golds, and no repeat winners either.

Here is a fast-paced event. Only the point Mech fights, the rest of the formation you bring is just spectators. So make sure you have the best Mech, armed to the gills and lovingly equipped in the top right spot.
A big supply of supers will be of help, send some to your friends and be sure to return if you get any.
