Highlighting the August 3337 Axe Attack
One of the annoying event types, for those who don't have them, is the named Mech events.
In addition to the featured Mech, sometimes Commanders are allowed to bring up to two other Mechs of roughly the same tonnage.
Here the venerable Axe Bot was featured.
Those who managed to claim the Gold medals this time were:

Like in the preceding Front line the entry requirements led to an underpowered 2nd division and a big 3rd division.
Participation dropped by eight.
Perhaps because a lack of Axe Bots?
Didn't seem to stop the rest of the contestants. Only seven had an Axe Bot on point, and only one of them took Gold

There was a struggle in the top division and in the 3rd. Second and 4th division was quiet as the grave during the scramble.
