Highlighting the December 3337 Point Mech Panic
This was the last event started while the transfer competition was still going on.
As it would end after the war, it was not unsurprisingly a single Mech event.
Those who climbed to the top this time were:
- Div 1: 42+(35 Players): Sebastien Roussel-Konan, Aeon (Boreas)(1d,5h)
- Div 2: -41(21 Players): Teaxe Reaver, Federation of Cybernetics (Fides)(15h,30m)
- Div 3: -27(51 Players): Paul Knight, The Muttonbirds Taperoom (Oggun)(17h,16m)
- Div 4: -12(29 Players): June Jones (Banshee)(14h,20 m)
The Mechs chosen by the Gold winners this time were 3 Niode Mechs; Banshee, Fides and Boreas and a single Crystal Mech, the trusty Oggun.
Range of Commanders
…….Participating.. Medal winners
Div 1: 35-82...……..35-82
Div 2: 23-41...……..25-41
Div 3: 12-28...……..20-28
Div 4: 1-15...……….8-15
Total Commanders participating: 136. Medals claimed: 60 (of 60 possible)
Another increase of participants, by 16 compared to the Frontline. We might have had more if the sign up hadn't ended
so soon.
Medals held for more than 30 minutes in this event:
………Silvers..Bronzes
Div 1: 4 of 4...10 of 10
Div 2: 4 of 4...10 of 10
Div 3: 4 of 4...10 of 10
Div 4: 4 of 4...10 of 10
As mentioned the sign up, and fighting, ended well before the end time of this event. The last successful attack were launched more than 14 hours before the end.
Thus it was a very static ending indeed.
Question one might ask is if these medals will count toward the medals needed for winning a Redeemer.
Lets have a look at the winners to see if it matters.
Sebastien Roussel-Konan got his second Gold in a row. This brought him up to nine total Golds, eight of them in the top division.
The top division Silver winners were:
- Daniel Scott
- Gary Muenzel
- Red Iron
- Glenn G Matson
- Brian D Wise
Teaxe Reaver won his first Gold, but as it was in the second division, it doesn't cut any ice.
Paul Knight won his sixth Gold, another Commander that wont get a good conduct medal.
Unaligned June Jones also got the first Gold ever.
