Highlighting the September 3337 iMountain
We were back at having a Mech specific event, and it was the trusty iMech that once more was the featured model.
One had to wonder if the Talbus Arms had bribed the tournament organizers. This was the 4th iMech tournament held, so far. The latest was back in August.
The wise Commanders who had prepared for such a case and had their iMechs ready to swoop in for a win were:

The novelty of iMech combat had worn off. A full fifth (22) of the Commanders who had showed up for the unlimited stayed home this time. This lack of Commanders and the divider between the second and third division caused a trio of Bronzes from the second division to be returned unclaimed.

One could perhaps have expected the fighting for some prize to be intense in the divisions were it was more Commanders than prizes available.
In that case one was wrong. second division was hammer and tongs and full court action. the two lowest divisions had scant fighting, and in the top division it was in general a fight for the lower prizes.
Wolf Pack came howling in and grabbed two Golds, a sign of strenght for the struggle ahead?
