Highlighting the June 3331 Cruiserweight (70 ton)
Cruiserweight is one of those rare events where it seem the bulk of the Mechs fighting is of a lower tonnage than allowed. The most notorious for that belong to the 65 ton events. Few are the Commanders who have a lineup of Oresters, and even then they are so slow that lighter Mechs will mostly blow them apart before they get firing solutions.
My formation had about one third 70 tonners, the rest were a mixture of lighter Mechs, I even had 3 Lightweights along to fill it up.
But I went over to the mountain (K3) and managed to reach the upper foothills.
Then some scheduled meetings I couldn't avoid came up. I snuck back for a few minutes a couple times and checked on my crew.
The last time I told them bluntly that their job was to hold and take footage as I would be tied up during the scramble.
They complied, held the top foothill and got quite a lot of footage. From panoramic stills of the lower peaks where nothing happened to the furious fighting on K1, K3 and K4.
Looking through the footage let me find that the winners this time were:

2+8+0+1+4+0+6(1S)+1S+0+0+0= Two Silvers and twenty Bronzes went to overweight formations this time.
Compared to the previous event (Oggunners) participation increased by 22, but the clustering among the higher mountains resulted in 1 more Bronze medal being sent back for resmelting this time (17).
Here we can say it was a split event. It was pretty hard fighting on four of the five highest mountains, and a total of one attack on the seven lowest during the last half-hour as seen by the overview

Still, five of the Golds changed hands during the last half-hour, one of them the last minute. The remaining seven were held for more than two hours, three of them for more than a day.
There were neither unaligned nor repeat winners this time, and no clan got more than 1 Gold
