Highlighting the March 3333 King Chrono
It was a new event coming up, Unlimited Chrono and I was invited to K2.
The competition there was pretty awe-inspiring, regular invitees had a licence 30-90 higher than mine, and those who had secured special Invitations (Michael Beagle and KiloToneRecoil) generally trounce me in main. But it was a chance to measure myself against stronger competition, so I joined up to see how I fared.
Not very well it turned out. The opponents formations were around 1000-1500 ton heavier than mine, except for the other special invitees who only had 600 tons on me.
After being pushed out onto the plains, and losing 60 attacks vs various opponents I gave up and returned to the camp. My crew were given white flags in case some others should enter, and otherwise told to get me some footage. In the end those who had the highest scores were:

Total Contestants: 349, Total medals claimed: 174 (of 180 possible)
Compared to the Fourty we had a huge influx of Commanders. 112 more showed up to fight it out, and most Mountains were filled. The sole exception was K11, but the tight bracket where only those who had special invitations or a Piloting licence showing 16 or 17 should take much of the blame for that.
As usual, on most of the mountains, the winners were easy to predict hours before the end. But on K11 and especially on K12 it was a knife fight.
Zam Wessel won his Gold on K12 by a margin of only 170 Points, that is the difference between 1st and 2nd place in one score round. This again show the importance of showing up early.
Highest total score was achieved by Dexter Berry on Mount Olympus, 152270 is a very good score considering the competition. Highest margin of victory belonged to Billybob Leory on K7, 35350 above the runner-up is impressive indeed.
Taking a look further down the score sheets, we find that the gap between the lesser medals in this event was:

Again, the margins between no medal and Bronze was pretty close on five of the mountains, and it wasn't that big a gap between Bronze and Silver on Mount Olympus.
There were no unaligned winners this time, and all the Gold medals went to different clans. There were no repeat winners either.
We take a look at the closest winner; Zam Wessel. He is fairly fresh in the climbs. His first appearance was in the February `32 Cruiserweight where he secured a Silver. That was just 13 months ago, but he have gained two Golds already, both in Chrono. In the December Axe Attack Chrono, and now in the Unlimited Chrono

Here you are still allowed to bring whatever type of Mechs you want, but only two of each model will be allowed to fight.
Equipment and weapons work as normal.
Event ends March 14 between 1500 and 1530 New York Times.
