Highlighting the December 3333 Cannon Balls
After two straight Rainbows we were back at an unlimited contest. Well, nearly. It was a Projectile enhanced damage contest.
My special invitations declared I should get to the second highest mountain, K2, But it was some glitch, and the system wouldn't let me register.
Not that it did a great bit of difference, I had conferences and meetings scheduled until well after the scramble was over, so even if the other contestants hadn't had up to 60 Levels and 1400 tons on me it would still have been an nearly impossible task to get some noble medal.
One of my team mates managed to sign up, and took some notes and footage. After reviewing it, I found the winners this time had been:

I am starting to believe the shorter notice you have for a climb the fewer Commanders will show up. Here we had barely 13 hours from notice to scramble. Compared to the Triple Rainbow Chrono we had 113 fewer contestants. Problem when it came to the spread was the entrance to some Mountains, especially K11, were really narrow. In the end 3 Silvers and 26 Bronzes were sent for resmelting after the award ceremony.
Fighting as usually varied between the various tops, on some it was lots of successful attacks, on others there were less. During the last half-hour four Gold medals changed hands at least once, two of them the last minute.
All of the eight others were held for at least two hours. Further down on the slopes the number of medals held for more than 30 minutes in this event was:

The only top where all (two) medals changed hands was K11. K3 and K12 was the only two other mountains where more than half the medals changed hands.
Both Northwind Dragons and Jagdstaffel2 did well and secured two Golds each. However, Steampunk Dragons did better and captured three Golds.
There weren't unaligned winners, but Bing Paculan from The Isle of Misfit Toys managed to repeat the Gold performance of the last event.
Upcoming event: Dirty 30
This is a maximum tonnage event where no Mechs above 30 tons are allowed to fight. A Commander is of course free to bring say 100 tonners along, but when it comes to fighting they and any other Mech weighing more tan 30 tons will show up as empty spaces in the formation. The recommended Mechs here are the Novum, Banshee and Trooper, although the iMech will surely be well represented and do the yeoman work.
Equipment and weapons work as normal.
