Highlighting the November 3334 SelfSame
Another event came up, and I swore silently to myself, another SelfSame.
Selfsame is an event for focused Commanders, those that have gotten several, or at least one full line of top Mechs. I on the other hand have a diversified mix, and couldn't really compete. My most numerous model of BFM`s was the Fext, don't take me wrong, really good Mechs. But I would be heavily outnumbered, only able to field four of them.
To make matters worse, I was low totem guy on K2 where the lowest regular contender would have 20 levels on me, and the top contenders more than 90.
In addition, Bruno's meeting schedule had me at another meeting for most of the climb. I should be out of it five minutes before the scramble, but it would be a tight fit.
The smart thing to do was joining up immediately, and as soon as the formation was ready I tried to do so. The red tape at the entry was worse than usual, and I returned to the compound unregistered. I would really have to hustle to get there in time after the meeting.
Alas, the meeting took a bit longer than planned, and when I finally got back to the compound the climb was over. Luckily a friend had taken some footage, and I found the winners this time had been:

The most winning Mech this time as well as the last was the Boreas. Three Golds were produced by its icy precision. Note that the only other multi-Gold-winning Mech, the Humbaba (2), took the top two Golds.
Four of the Golds went to non-Niode Mechs, the models in question were; Gigus, Daemon, Oggun and Nephilax.
We experienced a drop in participation compared to the Progressive Pileup. Not a big drop as such numbers are reckoned, only 11. But it seemed as if all of them were from the lowest Levels. K12 was almost unpopulated, and even if you took all the contestants on the 3 lowest tops at a whole, K5, K6 and K7 each had more contestants. Three Silvers and fifteen Bronzes were returned for resmelting this time.
Three Golds changed hands the last half-hour. Five were held for more than two hours, two of them for more than a day. Admittedly, it was an early end to the Climb, that might explain why there was so many medals held for more than 30 minutes in this event:

Only 9 of 45 Silvers (20%) and 11 of 107 Bronzes (10%) got new holders.
There were two runner up clans who got two Golds each this time; Punishers Guild (K10 + K11) and Warlock (Mount Olympus +K2). But the most winning Clan was Death`s Collector`s who secured the Gold on K3, K4 and K5.
No independent Commanders managed a win this time, but Bernard Johnson of Warlock got his second win in a row.
Upcoming event: Quad Chrono
This is a rainbow event. That means you might have up to a set number of Mechs of each type fighting, as it is a quad(ruple) the number is 4.
It is also a Chrono, so joining up early and getting lots of points is what will bring you medals. Showing up in the last minute and grabbing the top is for the sudden death events.
Equipment and weapons work as normal
