Highlighting the March 3336 Laser Blast Chrono
Another event was coming up. Laser Chrono this time.
Unfortunately I was tied up.
Literally.
After the last climb the doctor had me secured to my bed, orderlies guarded the only exit and had orders to use force to keep me inside.
The only silver lining was he had agreed to have some bring notes and footage so I could put a report together. After looking through the material I found the winners this time had been:

We had a rise of competing Commanders of two full dozens compared to the Ant event. Unfortunately the spread was pretty bad this time, it was more than five times as many on K3 as on K9 for instance and a total of 11 Bronzes from four tops was sent for resmelting.
The Climb was pretty long, and as in most such events the winners was easy to spot on most of the tops long before the end. Only on three tops was the margin to the runner up less than 10 000 (on one it was less than 2000) and five winners had more than 20 000 more than the second place winner.
The highest scorer all over was Dexter Berry on Mount Olympus, 158 300 is an impressive score. Highest margin of win was on K4 where Grego of PHOENIX had 38 020 on the runner up. Lowest score for a medal was on K7 where Russel Smith of UNDERWORLD got a Bronze for 3960.
The margins for the lesser Medals varied greatly as shown below

Lowest margin between the getters and get-nots was on K6 where the difference was a measly 36 points. this shows again that joining early to get some early score is paramount in a Chrono.
This was another event where no single clan got more than one Gold. We had two unaligned winners; Tony Ibanez on K11 and Sunin Myeyes on K12. None of the winners from the Ant event managed to get a follow up Gold.

Here is an elective Mechtype event. You might use any model you want, but only those Mechs who are of the same model as your Point Mech will be allowed to fight.
Equipment and weapons work as normal.
Event ends June 13 between 1430 and 1500 New York Time.
