Highlighting the January 3338 10 Red Tons
10 Red tons. One should assume the name of the tournament gave all the clues to the rules one needed.
You could use any Mech so long as it was red and not heavier than 10 tons.
In other words: Red Ant only
Somehow, details like that tend to slip the mind of some Commanders.
For those that manage to follow the rules and have correct Mechs in their formations, those who are out of formation is collectively known as targets.
I had the Ants needed to compete, but at the time I was zombiefied from to much time spent in the Multiverse.
One can stay awake for 3 weeks in a stretch by pouring in enough stimulants, but at that time the brain process is just so much mush.
I crashed and slept through the whole event.
Luckily I got hand of some bootleg copies of the fights. Not all the details, but enough to see the winners had been

4+8+8(1S)+1+3+0+5(1S)+5(G)+3+10(1S)+14(4S)+11(G,4S)= Two Golds, eleven Silvers and fifty-nine Bronzes was awarded to Commanders who had non-Ants in their formations
Total Contestants: 226, Total medals claimed: 173 (of 180 possible)
Participation dropped by twenty-seven compared to the Lightning Strike. The divisions were somewhat uneven, the 3 least attended tops had a total of 38 Commanders while K4 alone had 37.
The result was 7 Bronzes unclaimed and returned for resmelting.
Five Golds changed hands the last half-hour, four of them the last minute. Four Golds were held for more than two hours.
It seemed like this was a split event, take a look at the number of medals held for more than 30 minutes in this event:
.............Silvers......Bronzes
Div 1 ....1 of 4.........0 of 10
Div 2 ....1 of 4.........9 of 10
Div 3 ....1 of 4.........9 of 10
Div 4 ....1 of 4.........2 of 10
Div 5 ....4 of 4.........6 of 10
Div 6 ....2 of 4.........7 of 10
Div 7 ....4 of 4.........7 of 7
Div 8 ....4 of 4.......10 of 10
Div 9 ....4 of 4.......10 of 10
Div 10 ..9 of 4.........9 of 9
Div 11 ..4 of 4.......10 of 10
Div 12 ..4 of 4.........7 of 7
On the six lowest tops there was not even one single successful attack, despite a majority of the medal holders seemingly being out of formation. The six highest tops had quite some furballs for the top prizes, and both Mount Olympus and K4 saw almost all medals change hands.
This was another event where no clan managed to get more than one Gold. No unaligned winners managed to get a Gold either, but two of the Lightning winners managed to get a follow up Gold: John Fox from Knights of Chaos on K6 and Dizzy Cat from Night Hammers on K11
