Highlighting the August 3338 35 Alive
Sometimes the events coming up doesn't fit.
It can be you feel you don't have the force necessary to compete, or it could be other commitments make it impossible to be there for the finish.
Nevertheless, it might still be a good idea to sign up.
Worst result? You get nothing.
If you don't sign up getting nothing is guaranteed, but it could be that if you sign up others are even worse off than you, and you might end up getting a medal and some decent weapons.
I had a prior engagement, and was late to boot. Crossing my fingers I led my overweight formation to the arena and left them there. In this case there was no medal for me, but my crew at least got enough footage that I discovered the winners had been:

8+5+9(1S)+2+2+4+4+3+1+7(1S)+1+0= Two Silver medals and fourty-four Bronze medals went to Commanders having one or more overweight mechs in their formations.
Total Contestants: 213, Total medals claimed: 172 (of 180 possible)
More than a third (131) of the contestants who fought in the Chrono disappeared. Even though the remaining divisions were fairly equal in size, four of them had to few contestants to claim all the Medals. A total of 8 Bronzes from them were sent for resmelting.
Only two Golds changed hands the last half-hour, one of them the last minute. Seven Golds were held for more than two hours, two of them for more than a day.
Fighting for the lesser prizes varied from unsuccessful to very hard, just look at the number of medals held for more than 30 minutes in this event:

K5 was the absolute hotbed this time, although K4 also saw more than half the medals change hands.
Five tops had no successful attacks at all.
MAGA was the only clan to get two Golds (K11 and K12), and no unaligned Commanders managed to secure a win.
Donald_Trump_45 from MAGA was the sole repeat winner this time.
Donald_Trump_45 is another of those star pilots we see from time to time. So far the record is perfect. Two appearances in the climbs have resulted in two Golds.
At Level 18 the skill distribution indicates he is aiming for the top pretty soon. Nothing spent on weapons or armor, energy budget at 50 and can pilot 65 tonners already. Having just room for 9 Mechs in his formation he, is nevertheless a force to respect and be wary of.
Upcoming Event: Holmes Havoc
This event uses mostly the same rules as this (35 Alive) event. Any Mech heavier than 35 tons will still be disregarded when it comes to fighting. But unless you are fighting on one of the two lowest tops (K11 or K12) there is one more restriction placed. You are not allowed to have more than two
non-Holmes fighting for you
Event ends August 26 between 1200 and 1230 New York Time.
