Highlighting the March 3331 E Pluribus Unum
I was on K3. Among those who attended I had the highest number on the piloting licence. That should properly make the contest a walk in the park, right?
In that case, the park in question would be Central Park in New York City, time midnight, during an announced strike among the police and a blackout.
Firstly, it was a collectors event (Single Rainbow) and my collection of workable BFMs is less than half-filled.
Secondly, my formation don't have room for more than 30 Mechs, while most of the competition had up to four more than me.
Thirdly, my HG friezed out and there was no time to refill it. because fourthly, the boss was in one of his moods.
He was bent on getting lots of paperwork done, and to his way of thinking, the way to get it done was chaining me to my desk.
Then, later, perhaps release me, but more probably pile more paperwork in front of me.
I was allowed to tell my crew to hold as best they could. Take notes in case I came back, and footage in case I didn't.
Of course I wasn't released in time to get back and direct my troops in counterattacks. My crew got chased out onto the plains, and those who held onto the tops at the end were:

Ok, what happened here? Compared to the King Chrono participation dropped like a ton of rocks, 108 fewer chose to attend this climb, and there was only 3 mountaintops some Commanders walked away from without medals this time.
Talking of medals. Three Silvers and a whooping 46 Bronzes were sent for resmelting this time, that is nearly half the Bronzes that was cast for this event.
Fighting, even for the Gold medals were largely nonexistent during the scramble.
Three Golds changed hands the last half-hour, admittedly two of them the last minute. Of the remaining Golds, seven were held for more than two hours.

We had seven divisions where not one single medal changed hands during the last half-hour, and the total of medals that was exchanged was 29 out of the 131 awarded.
There were no unaligned winners this time, and no repeat winners either. All the Gold medals went to different clans.

This is another unlimited time event. Perhaps the craftsmen feel the K.C. is what the Commanders want?
Bring the best formation you have, sign up early and stay high on the mountain to get the most points. Remember, the winner is the Commander who have the most points at the end, not necessarily the one at the top when the light flashes.
Equipment and weapons work as normal.
