Highlighting the June 3333 Front Line Fight
It was the middle of the war, and as usual we had a climb.
It would have been a big surprise if it had been anything other than front line fighting, most of the Commanders were running low on spare parts, armor and ammo after two grueling battles.
I found some Mechs who weren't to badly shot up, and by cannibalizing others the techs got my formation into something resembling operational readiness. Some pilots got dragooned into coming along, and got on the road to the mountain.
The crowd on K3 was the biggest, if not necessarily the baddest, but plenty of hard-to-beat formations were already in place.
After some heavy fighting we reached the top foothill, and was in striking distance of the top. It was still some time left until the scramble, and I had plenty to do in the camp, so the crew were told to hold and take notes. I would return as soon as I could.
But as the scramble started there were still details I had to attend to, and I got delayed. When I finally arrived back at the mountain at t+7 minutes the scramble was over and the winners were:

Compared to the Fire and Ice, participation was increased by 26 Commanders. The spread was uneven, in the four smallest groupings (on K2, K8, K10 and K11) the total number of contestants was less than the number who fought on K3 alone.
13 bronzes were sent for resmelting this time as well, perhaps a couple of them can be blamed on the tight grouping of K10?
It was a fairly short scramble this time, perhaps a majority of the Commanders was in "wait and see" mode? Six Gold Medals changed hands the last half-hour, three of them the last minute. Five Golds were held for more than two hours, one of them for more than a day.
As I mentioned, there seemed to be a slow start of the action on many mountaintops. This is evidenced by the number of lesser medals held for more than 30 minutes in this event:

On four Mountains (K2, K5, K8 and K11) there were no successful attacks launched the last half-hour. The most fluid mountain was Mount Olympus where only four Commanders managed to cling to the medals for 30+ minutes. The only other mountain where more than half of the medals got new holders were K12.
For the other six mountains, a total of seven of twenty-four Silvers and twelve of fifty-one Bronzes got new owners.
No single clan brought home more than one Gold from the mountains. No Commander managed to repeat the golden performance from the Fire and Ice, but we had two unaligned winners. Lito Fallu on K11 and Adam Korbussa on K12.

First appearance on the mountains were back in the April `18 King Chrono. That ended with a Silver, 5640 points behind the winner. The first Gold came in yet another King Chrono, in Porktober `19, and this Gold was the second.
Having a Piloting licence of 21, the biggest base you can get is Diotima, and the current formation of 405 tons where a Luison is on point gives an average Mech-weight of 40 tons.
Fallu have a decent energy budget after using 12 skill points there. In addition Laser, Missile and Cannon have gotten some thought. The heaviest Mech pilotable without kickback is currently just 50 ton.
Upcoming Event: Point Mech Panic
This event is "a mano a mano" (very closely or one to one), and may the best Mech win.
Picking the best Mech, giving it the best Equipment and weapons, and having a serious supply of Supers, regulars and big hatoraides is commonly known to be details that help you gain prizes in this fluid event.
