Highlighting the May 3334 Front Line Fight
The mid war challenge was, as most had grown accustomed to, a Frontline Fight.
This gave Commanders who had taken heavy losses a chance to fight despite most of their machines being strewn over square kilometers of battlefields.
Despite my licence being more than 90 levels lower than the minimum the regular entrants to Mount Olympus needed, that was were I had ended up during the registration.
In one way it was an almost even fight. None could use more than five Mechs, so I was nowhere as out massed as the level disparity should indicate.
On the other hand, the opposing Mechs had much thicker armor and some had more than twice as many weapons as my Mechs of the same model.
I had planned to try for a medal, but the horrible casualties we had suffered the two first days made it an impossibility. My crew were told to hold in place and take notes + footage as I went wheeling, dealing and begging to anyone I suspected of being capable of delivering spare parts and ammo in time for the last clash. My crew came back unscratched and reported the winners this time had been:

Participation rose by 50 compared to the previous event, the March Double Rainbow. The spread was uneven, K7 alone had twice as many participants as K11 and K12 combined. The nine Bronzes who were sent for resmelting came from those two mountains.
Six Golds changed hands the last half-hour, two of them the last minute. The other six Golds were held for more than two hours, five of them for more than a day. Further down on the slopes it seemed the lethargy from two hard Battles had taken its toll as witnessed by the number of medals held for more than 30 minutes in this event:

Not even on one single top did more than half the Medals change hands. On K7, K9 and K11 the only actions was the Gold fight, on K8, K10 and K12 not one single successful medal attack was launched.
Warlock did well by securing the top two Golds. But Northwind Dragons did better by bringing home a trio of Golds (from K3,K4 and K5).
The two lowest tops were claimed by unaligned Commanders; Mar Elvin Barao on K11 and wormsdirt on K12. The only repeat winner this time was Pat Kash from Karma on K10
Upcoming event: Point Mech Panic
Welcome back to the most fast paced event we have. As each contestant only is allowed to use the Point Mech, (the Mech in the upper right corner of the formation) the RNG gods are more important here than anywhere else. So get the best Mech you have in that position, and equip it to win. Fork, Wide Fork, Splash and Trample is useless. Slow, Freeze and of course Crit-Kill is what matters beside fast weapons dealing massive damage. Be sure to stock up on the Hatorades, in this event they disappear faster than ever.
Equipment and weapons work as normal.
