Highlighting the May 3336 Orcus
Here was another Mech specific event, and another Ain't at that.
I should perhaps explain.
An Ain't event is an event where most Commanders ain't got even a single Mech of the kind featured when the event is announced. (In general a low tonnage Niode Mech)
Recent event of the type have been WarHorse, Buccaneer and Nerio, here came the Orcus event.
To make suggestions of further Ain't events, I could mention that very few Commanders proudly heap praises on either the Dread or the Buchis, so they are prime candidates for Aint events. (Keradons seem to have some who like them, so it wont necessarily be an Ain't event)
I had none myself, so I decided to sit the event out. A friend got me some footage so I could see the winners this time had been:

3(G,2S)+0+0+1(G)+2(G,S)+0+1+0+1(G)+2(G,S)+0+0= Four Gold winners (33%), 4 Silver winners (8.25%), and 1 Bronze winner (1%) had formations that could have been pure Orcus.

Participation increased by 14 Commanders from the Daemon event, but the unevenness of participants was severe and a total of 16 Bronzes from five different tops were sent for resmelting after the award ceremony.
Five Golds changed hands the last half-hour, one of them the last second. Four Golds were held for more than two hours, two of them for more than a day. Fighting for the lesser prizes varied from pretty fierce to nonexistent as seen by the number of medals held for more than 30 minutes in this event:

The hardest fighting this time took place on K4. K5
was also a hotbed of fighting and Mount Olympus was the third top where more than half the medals changed hands.
Only on K10 and K 12 was there no successful attacks launched.
Best clan this time was without a question Borg. They got a trio of top prizes, from K9, K10 and K11. Temporarily unaligned MamaMorgie (K6) and William Scott (K7) got top prizes, while none of the last round winners managed to continue their winning streaks.
Upcoming event: Oggunners
This is a split event. For those on K1-K8 the only legal Mechs are Ogguns. On K9-K12 it is an unlimited event.
Event ends between 1500 and 1530 June 20 New York Time.
