Highlighting the April 3338 Front Line Fight
Ah. The traditional mid-war event. One only needed to bring one line to the battle here.
I managed to sign up and leave my crew out on the plains before I had to return for scheduled appointments.
These took longer than anticipated, and the event ended before I could get back.
But my crew had gotten some footage of the key events so I could report that this time the winners had been:

Total Contestants: 345, Total medals claimed: 180 (of 180 possible)
Participation rose sharply, it more than doubled from the 156 we had at the last Birthday KotM.
Not saying the divisions were balanced, K3 had more contestants than K9 + K10 + K11 combined, but at least there were enough contestants to claim all the medals.
Five of the Golds changed hands within the last half-hour, one of them in the last few seconds. Three Golds were held for more than two hours, two of them for more than a day.
Battling for the lesser medals were mostly confined to Mount Olympus, just look at the number of medals held for more than 30 minutes in this event:

Ok, there was some action elsewhere as well. Worth mentioning is the end runs made by Enigma on K12 and Wilykat_ on K9. Both started out on the plains, but went swiftly
through the foothills and the slopes to claim the top.
The only clan to get Double Gold this time were Karma who claimed top position on both K9 and K10.
On the lowest tops were two unaligned winners; Daniel Marchand on K11 and Enigma on K12.
None of the Birthday KotM winners managed to follow up on their Gold
Upcoming event: Point Mech Panic.
This is the traditional end of the tournaments. Some clans have probably been pounded to scraps, and all you have to bring in is one Mech in working order.
That fact should let most understand that secondary effects and shielding against such is totally unnecessary. Slow, crit and freeze are effects to install here.
