Highlighting the November 3337 Quadruple Rainbow
Rainbow events puts restriction on how many of a Mech model a Commander can bring to the field of honor. What Mechs are actually brought is up to the Commander.
The Quadruple is the least restrictive of the Rainbows, even those using the biggest base don't have to use more than 11 different models of Mechs.
That presupposes that they actually have four copies of that many Mechs of course.
The Quadruple Rainbow is a fairly fresh format and this was just the third time it was held.
Things were heating up for me in the Multiverse, so after making arrangements with a friend to get me some footage I returned there.
Later I went through the footage and saw the winners had been:

We had another ten dropouts from the climbs compared to the Cannon Balls.
As the divisions were quite uneven, with the five smallest attracting only 54 Commanders while the two biggest had 56, it should come as no surprise that a total of twenty-one Bronzes from the smallest divisions were sent back for resmelting.
While none who have watched a Point Mech finish would confuse this with a full bore action, we had some moments. Three Golds changed hands the last half-hour, while eight were held for more than two hours.
Struggle for the rest of the prizes were limited as well, perhaps because there was so few contestants in many of the divisions that almost everyone was guaranteed some loot?

There was as usual some action on Mount Olympus, and there was a jockeying for positions on the slopes of K2 as well.
But then… Except for the Gold grabbing on K5 and K8 it was just some small scuffling and on five tops not even a single successful attack were launched.
