Highlighting the October 3337 Cannon Balls
The regular event is, or used to be anyway, the unlimited King of the Mountain.
No restrictions on what Mechs one could use or in what number. If you could put it into the formation it was legal.
Here we had unlimited (mark e). Still no restrictions of any kind, but the projectile weapons had their damage boosted by four fifths.
Don't know how the game commission manage to pull of that stunt, but any Equipment that can duplicate such a feat is really high on my to-get-list.
I was back in the Multiverse, and failed to register. Luckily a team mate was present, and later let me have a copy of the footage from the gun cameras.

Total Contestants: 222, Total medals claimed: 170 (of 180 possible)
Compared to the Limited Tonnage Chrono we had a drop in participation of 62 Commanders. Don't know why, could be many of them where busy in the Multiverse as well.
Result of this ,-desertion is perhaps not the correct word, was we had to return 10 Bronzes from four different divisions for resmelting.
Only one Gold chaged hands the last half-hour. Of the remaining 11, nine were held for more than two hours.
And that was the most exiting action for most of the aficionados. But even the most fanatic was falling asleep toward the end.
Reason?
Look at the number of medals held for more than 30 minutes in this event:

Except for the Gold switch on Mount Olympus, NO successful attacks on the five highest tops. Some scuffle for mid level positions on K6, K7 and K8, then quiet as the grave on the four lowest tops.
The Brotherhood BlackWatch managed to secure two Golds. This feat was however overshadowed by the Nigh Hammers who claimed a trio of top prizes.
No unaligned Commanders managed to reach and stay on the top, but Dexter Berry, despite being more than 50 Levels below the highest ranked on Mount Olympus, managed to get a second Gold in a row.
