Highlighting the January 3338 Lightning Strike
Lightning strike is a tournament format for for the light Mechs, generally (as here) up to and including 25 tonners.
This format tend to be dominated by those who have several of the top Mechs (Novum, Nerio, Commissar and Axe Bot) and enough supporting Mechs to fill out the formations.
In this case I was so immersed in the Multiverse that the Mainverse and its tournaments were quite forgotten. Luckily a team mate gave me enough copies of the footage that I could discover the winners this time had been:

4+3+8+2+0+6+2+8(1S)+4+7+6+0= One Silver and fourty-nine Bronzes went to Commanders who obviously had one or more overweight Mech

The event following after a long Chrono tend to be less visited as some are weary after all the fighting. This was no exception, participation was reduced by 42.
Despite this, the divisions were fairly even, and only one Bronze (from K3) was sent for resmelting.
Fighting was pretty brisk. During the last half-hour five Golds changed hands, three of them during the last minute. Four Golds were held for more than two hours, one of them for more than a day.
Desire for the lesser prizes was not that big, at least not on all the tops. Take a look at the number of medals held for more than 30 minutes in this event:

Mount Olympus had most action, but also K9 saw more than half the medals change hands. Five tops had no successful attacks at all.
No single clan managed too bring home more than one top prize in this event. One independent Commander, Batata Noire on K12, managed to get a Nephilax without team mates to cheer him on. None of the Chrono winners managed to get a follow up triumph.
