Highlighting the November 3337 Mountain of Fire
After the rainbows we got an unlimited event.
OK, so it was unlimited mark b, Fire enhanced, but not really a big difference.
You still decided what Mechs you wanted to use and how many of each. The only real difference was that Fire based attacks dealt 80% more damage than normal.
To do well, a tweaking of the formation was recommended, unless you already had the specifications for a Fire formation listed in the hangar so the techs could ready it in a short time.
I had such a formation, I even got it out of the hangar and headed for the arena. Then I fell asleep, woke up, returned the Mechs to the hangar and headed again for the Multiverse.
Yes, I was woozy as a drunk squirrel, and had forgotten what I had set out to do. Luckily some friend who showed up there had some footage so I could see the winners this time had been:

This event was less popular than the preceding Triple Rainbow. Twenty-two fewer Commanders showed up here, and the divisions were a bit uneven. The result was 12 Bronzes from four different tops was sent back for resmelting.
One thing was reduction in the number of Commanders, but there seemed to be a lack of fighting spirit as well. Not even one Gold changed hands the last half-hour, while nine were held for more than two hours, and this lethargy seemed to have spread downwards in the divisions as well. Just look at the number of medals held for more than 30 minutes in this event:

A total of 8 medals changed hands, four of them on Mount Olympus.
No single clan managed to get more than one Gold in this event. Neither did any of the Triple Rainbow winners manage to secure a follow-up Gold.
We had two unaligned winners; Kevin Browning on K11 and Joebern Armada on K12.
